When you read the press release more closely you see that it says (as quoted above) that parents (or caregivers) are being advised NOT to use these products, although the company says that the chances of injury when using any of the recalled product is remote. But they only talk about THEIR products. Not other generic brands that you might have in your house.

Our friend's son is doing better and has overcome his little sickness without medication. Hopefully they will do more research next time there is a recall.

Make sure to check out the Press Release where there is a complete list of products that have been recalled with the exact name, flavor and NDC #.

I went to check our medicine cabinet and found one of the recalled products in our house. I would probably advice everybody to do the same, just to be on the safe side. I read that if your kids are sick and you have administered any of the recalled products check your child frequently. If they show any unusual symptoms, the parents are urged to contact a health care professional.

Luckily we are going toward warmer weather, it seems that we are out of the flu season and hopefully less medication is necessary!
