The Top Ten Fame Whores of 2010
On my blog, Jim Straz's Hollywoodgiants.com, I strive to keep it real. I am obsessed with writing about things that matter in our world, like all the Fame Whores and their crazy PR stunts, which have always fascinated me. I love when a celebrity goes in for the kill, manipulates the situation to their advantage and creates as much smoke as possible. That is why I work on both sides of the fence; I can't get enough of it!
This year I've decided to have some fun and honor my favorite publicity monsters of the last 12 months. So, without further ado, here is my official 1st list of the Ten Biggest Fame Whores of 2010!
10. Rod BlogojevichWe know, he's kinda "yuck." From Illinois Governor to scandal to indictment to conviction to mistrial to reality show to TV endorsement deal, Rod Blogojevich has morphed himself into a huge fame whore this year. It certainly helps that he has a friend in Donald Trump to help him revamp his image. We were shocked to see him on "Celebrity Apprentice" and even more shocked to see him on a "Wonderful Pistachio" TV commercial selling nuts. We can only say that it is nuts he is able to pimp himself out after all the controversy. Rod is living proof that any publicity is good publicity. He is a perfect example of someone making lemonade out of lemons! We have no idea where he will go from here…but he did make our list.
9. Bobby Trendy
What can we say about this crazy character? A lot actually! WE do love this outlandish Hollywood Giant for all he brings to the red carpet. Where many die out and fade into the woodwork, Bobby Trendy continues to get his photo in all of the tabloids. His style is so attention-grabbing that Lady Gaga often steals his tricks, as reported recently by X17. Still an in-demand designer, Bobby Trendy drives a $300,000 Jaguar around West Hollywood and continues to live the life of an A List queen. Bobby says, “I’ve never met a red carpet that I didn’t like!” Spoken like a true fame whore.
8. Kim Zolciak The “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” queen of flip-flopping on her press stories and sexual preferences, Kim Zolciak gets high marks for her work this year in achieving new levels of national fame. Let's face it, this reality star has always got some scheme or story she's working to the tabloids and blogs. Being exposed by DJ Tracy Young without her wig on in Star Magazine, along with the latest baby news, just adds more fuel to her fire in the media. Be careful Kimmie, we don’t want to see you burn out! You have a baby-on-board and a huge fame whoring baby shower to plan for prime time television! Don't you???
